mental health resources

remember, YOU are not alone.

Dear friend,

Throughout my life and journey, I have faced seasons of depression, anxiety, panic attacks, etc. When I was growing up, mental health was not a topic that was widely addressed, and often I heard the enemy tell me that my struggles were cause for shame or because I had somehow failed to have enough faith...

Well dear heart, THAT. IS. NOT. TRUE. We live in a broken world, and as a result of that brokenness, we may face physical and mental sicknesses, and that is absolutely nothing to be ashamed of or embarrassed by.

I am so grateful that we are now living in a time in which so many tools are being offered to those who may battle mental illness or struggle with their mental health like I DO, and I am so passionate about sharing the tools and resources that have helped me on my journey! Here are a few that myself and others who have been with me along the way recommend. They are, by no means, going to replace treatment, but I hope they encourage you to take the first step.

I end this open letter with this:

YOU ARE LOVED. YOU ARE NOT ALONE. YOU WILL BE OKAY.

In this world we will have tribulation, but TAKE HEART, Jesus has overcome the world.

Love you,

Lyd.
